The Local Fishing Action Group of the Murcia Region (GALPEMUR) has joined the network
The Network of Rural Development of the Region of Murcia (REDEMUR), which currently presides over the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, has met in the Caravaqueño Consistory in order to approve its first budget and the Action Plan 2018- 2019

Redemur, created in March 2017, aims to promote and promote projects related to local and rural development of the associated territories, as well as improving the management and coordination of the groups that comprise it.
The network is formed by all the Local Action Groups (GAL) that operate in the Region of Murcia.
In this last assembly has joined the Local Action Group of Fisheries of the Region of Murcia (GALPEMUR), which completes the network.
"From Redemur we understand that this network must mark a before and after in the necessary impulse that, undoubtedly, our rural environment needs.This is why we intend to develop an intense social activity from this 2018 exercise", as indicated by the Mayor, José Moreno.
The Action Plan 2018-2019.
Redemur en marcha Leader 'has a budget of more than 70,000 euros and includes information and dissemination actions of the activity developed by the local action and participatory local development groups based on Leader.
The annual conference 'Círculo Rural', on the potential, needs and sectors of activity of the rural environment, is one of the actions included in the action plan.
Among other measures, the action plan also provides for the educational campaign 'Learn with Leader', aimed at 5th and 6th grade primary school students.
The objective of this initiative is to explain to schoolchildren the importance of the rural world in the Region, how Leader acts to improve it, what role the rural population plays in the conservation of the environment, heritage, in the improvement of the quality of life or in the creation of employment.
Redemur is formed by Grupo Noroeste Integral (Integral, Society for Rural Development);
Grupo Nordeste (Association for the Regional Development of the Northeast Region of Murcia);
Vega del Segura Group (Association for the Integrated Rural Development of the Municipalities of Vega del Segura), the Campoder Group (Association for Rural Development Campoder) and the Local Action Group for Fisheries of the Region of Murcia (GALPEMUR).
