More than a hundred children attend the Municipal Summer School, organized by the City of Caravaca de la Cruz in collaboration with the Caravaca Sports Center.
"The main objectives of this activity are to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life and to encourage fun and education in values ​​during school vacations", as pointed out by Council Member María José Soria during her visit to a of school activities.
María José Soria has also highlighted the inclusion component of the Municipal Summer School, since the Caravaqueño Consistory, through its councils of Social Services and Youth, has awarded a total of 21 children from families at risk of social exclusion, help that includes school attendance and a catering service with lunch.
Likewise, students with disabilities attend, assisted by qualified monitors.
In addition to the school that is celebrated in the urban area, during the month of July others have been offered in the districts of Barranda, Archivel and La Encarnación.
The students of the Municipal Summer School participate in a recreational program, made up of diverse activities such as dynamics, crafts, sports, games in English and excursions to natural spaces.
