The day will end with an informative talk about the Juglares Guild.

The president of the Cultural Association 'Gremio de Juglares', Juan Miguel Férez Montoya, has pointed out that "the benefits of the game, as social and mental entertainment, are unquestionable." The board game favors the interpersonal relationship and healthy competition; of cards spur cunning and quick thinking, and role-playing encourages empathy, decision-making, and the importance of measuring the consequences of your actions.We strongly believe that board games and similar forms of entertainment (remote, obviously, the money game) are healthy and instructive.That is why we want to invite all those curious with these hobbies to our 'I Jornada Lúdica Gremio de Juglares' .The amateur or neophyte who visits us can have a good time with different board and card games, role playing, and there will be games aimed at the little ones in the house, discovering that there are other healthy ways to have fun. "

The game has accompanied the human being from its very dawn;

It could be said that civilization develops together with the game, never to be separated again.

Our prehistoric ancestors already practiced forms of play (remember, all animals, including primates, play) rather associated with animism and the principles of connection with the spirits that would guarantee their survival.

In the ancient Egyptian civilization they practiced a game consisting of trying to shoot down the rival with a rod from their barge on the Nile;

the Purépechas of Michoacán, in the pre-Columbian era, played purepecha ball: a great-grandfather of field hockey with a rag ball on, just as the Mayans played tlachtli, the first basketball.

Immortal were the Greek Olympic games, and known Roman tesserae (dice).

The Arabs of the first millennium were fans of the primitive mathematical board games and strategists, and a king like Alfonso X "El Sabio" wrote the "Book of Chess, Dice and Tables", one of the compendiums on older board games .
