With the motto 'Walking we make heart', the Council of Sports of the City council of Caravaca de la Cruz launches the program 'Ways', with two pilgrimages, of different route, by the Way of Santiago (French Way) and one by the Way of San Juan de la Cruz, which links Beas de Segura and Caravaca de la Cruz.
The first of the routes along the Camino de Santiago will take place from July 16 to 27 and will depart from Santo Domingo de la Calzada, with a total length of 253 kilometers, to be completed over nine stages.
The second tour of the French Way will take place from 16 to 25 August, with a distance of 154 kilometers, divided into seven stages.
Finally, from September 9 to October 21, there will be the Camino de San Juan de la Cruz, which joins the town of Beas de Segura in Jaén with Caravaca de la Cruz, crossing different municipalities of the Sierra de Segura.
The registration period to participate in the different pilgrimages is open until completing places.

With the pilgrimages included in the 'Caminos' program, the municipal 'D'Ruta' trekking program is continued, which takes place throughout the course with monthly departures to natural sites and mountain enclaves.
The goal of the Department of Sports is to encourage the love of sports in nature and promote healthy habits of life, fighting sedentary lifestyle.
